Yadira Rosario-Rivera is Ferraiuoli’s Trademark Paralegal Supervisor and assists attorneys in all phases of trademark prosecution due diligence in Puerto Rico and United States. In this capacity, she also performs trademark research to identify any gaps or protections in coverage, potential infringement liabilities or limitations on use; reviews and confirms accuracy of the schedule of trademark assets and registration certificates against domestic and US filings; prepares ownership changes, assignments, and renewal applications as well as takes care of filing prosecution documents with the Puerto Rico and United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Yadira handles new filing applications, statements of use, extensions of time, declarations of continued use, renewals, routine responses to office actions and all post filing documents. She also records documents with the Puerto Rico, United States Patent and Trademark Office and the US Copyright Office and handles all aspects of daily docketing, including: reviewing mail and calendar deadlines; verifying deadlines and input into the docket system; daily docket monitoring for filing updates and deadlines and communicates the same to the corresponding and responsible attorneys.
